Parents Decline To Vote, Son’s Eye Removed In Bihar


imageIn a heart rendering tale, a 10-year-old boy's eye was extorted out in a Bihar village as a punishment for his parents' refusal to vote for a particular candidate in the panchayat elections.   The boy, Ajit Kumar of Dhabouli village in Begusarai district, is now undergoing treatment at a government hospital.
