India Strong Ally In War On Terror: British Oppn Leader

Britain's opposition leader David Cameroon on Wednesday described India as a strong ally in war against terror and disfavoured racial profiling that is perceived to be done in the wake of increasing global terrorism.

The Conservative Party leader spoke strongly in favour of a multi-racial and multi-religious society and noted that India and Britain had a good track record in this respect.

"India is a strong ally in war against terrorism," said Cameroon who met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and leader of Opposition L K Advani.
