ISI On An Anti India Overdrive

After trying direct war and hidden proxy wars to destabilize India, there are reports that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has increased its activities in India by not only supporting sleeper terror cells but also encouraging Indian soldiers to betray their country. The reports come after Delhi Police exposed an organized spy network with the arrest of an army jawan at the New Delhi's palam airport with sensitive defense documents.

According to the Defense Minister Pranab Mukherjee investigations would be launched to determine the extent of infiltrations in various organizations. According to preliminary investigations, the espionage networks may have started from J&K and spread across New Delhi and Kathmandu, the Defense Minister said.

Earlier, Havildar Anil Kumar, working with the Army Group Insurance Scheme, was arrested from South-West Delhi's Mahipalpur areas while giving defense related sensitive documents to an official of the Pakistan High Commission.

Two months ago, Pakistan threw out a visa counselor from the Indian embassy in Islamabad on charges of espionage and India retaliated by expelling a Pakistani diplomat on similar charges.
 
There is no denying the fact that ISI's main target has been to create an atmosphere of terror and destabilize India. ISI in the past has steadfastly been making efforts to make India a major drug transit point with the aim of destabilizing it economically. Intelligence sources also reveal that ISI was also spreading fake currency in the bordering areas of India and generally supporting terror activities.
