Hollywood Actress Angelina Jolie, who arrived in New Delhi on Saturday and happens to be the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, has reportedly met Sikh refugees from the war-torn Afghanistan.

Additionally, she also met refugees who have fled from Myanmar. She has been acting as the Goodwill Ambassador since 2001 and has helped bring the forgotten refugee crises to the attention on world media.

On Sunday, the actress, who was accompanied by his four-year-old adopted son Maddox, had a meeting with Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma in New Delhi on Sunday, November 5, to discuss issues concerning refugees and children.

The actress has come to Pune to shoot “A Mighty Heart”, based on Wall Street Journal correspondent Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and slain by terrorists in Pakistan in January 2002.
